ElasticWebinar does not share any personal data with any third party except information required to function correctly. Users might visit our site anonymously, however for billing, security and accounting reasons users may be requested to enter their email, name, address, company details and credit card information as needed. This will only be collected from users when registering an account and only if the user enters the data voluntarily. 

Webinar attendees who want to register for a webinar must provide their name or nickname and email address. In some cases webinar host may require other non-sensitive data necessary for the webinar.

Data protection

We protect your data by using the latest encryption methods and security standards. We do not store your credit card details directly. Instead, we use one of the most secure payment providers called Stripe to process and store your billing information in a secure manner.

Anonymous Non-personal data

In order to continualy improve users experience, we may collect some anonymous information about users visiting and interacting with our website. We use third-party browser and mobile analytics services like Google Analytics. These services use Data Collection Tools to help us analyze your use of the Services, including information like the third-party website you arrive from, how often you visit, events within the Services, usage and performance data. We use this data to improve the Services, better understand how the Services perform on different devices, and provide information that may be of interest to you.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies such as local storage in order to operate normally, allowing you to log into the dashboard and to provide us with anonymous statistics about your visit to help us enhance the user experience of our website.

Sharing your personal data

Google - we use Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to host our service. All data we store in database and all videos, images you upload are stored in GCP in European Union.

Stripe - all payments are processed through Stripe. We do not directly store your payment details. Instead we rely on Stripe to securely store the payment details.

SendGrid/Postmark - all emails we send to our customers and on their behalf to webinar attendees are sent via SendGrid or Postmark.

IpData - for correct pricing, we might send your IP address to IpData to find out your home currency.

Coconut - for video conversion of videos uploaded by you

GDPR

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a EU regulation designed to harmonize data privacy laws across Europe and enforce much stricter privacy regulations. It was designed to better protect user privacy and reshape how organizations handle personal data. We are fully commited to comply with GDPR.

Data processor (ElasticWebinar)

ElasticWebinar and all other services may be used only for lawful purposes.

Transmission, distribution or storage of any material in violation of any applicable law or regulation is prohibited.

ElasticWebinar typically acts as a data processor, which means that we process data on your behalf. We allow you to gather and temporarily store webinar attendees information such as name, email address, information whether attendee visited the webinar for the purpose of analyzing, processing and testing. Additionally, our system stores files manually uploaded by you.

Data Controller (You)

As a customer of ElasticWebinar, you typically act as a data controller. This means you determine if, why and for how long data will be stored on our system. Our system provides ways to process, store and aggregate the stored information. It is your duty as a controller to demonstrate the same level of GDPR compliance.
